How it works, and why you can trust it
Most "cheapest supermarket" advice is sponsored. Ours can't be — groceries have no affiliate schemes, so we take nothing from any store, which is exactly why nobody else does this honestly. Your receipt photo is sent once to read the text, compared against prices we've captured by hand from each retailer's website, and then discarded — we don't keep the image and we don't store your shopping. The comparison covers the everyday staples we track so far (a list that's growing); items we don't track yet are simply skipped, never guessed. It's a directional check to show you where money leaks, not an exact audit of every line.
