How we make money — the honest version

If we're going to ask you to trust us with something as personal as your money, you deserve to know exactly how we make ours. So here it is, with nothing hidden. If anything below ever feels off, call us out — that's the whole point.

How we keep the lights on

Right now — nothing. And that's on purpose.

Everything on The People's Pocket is free, forever: every guide, every tool, every figure. There is no paywall and no membership. We take no money from any supermarket, bank, advertiser or sponsor, we run no adverts, and — despite what a "money" website usually does — there are no affiliate links anywhere on the site.

For now, the site simply runs on the founder's own time, because being genuinely on your side matters more than making a quick euro from it. If we ever add a way to support the work, it will be optional, it will never put the free help behind a paywall, and we'll tell you plainly.

If that ever changes, here's our promise

One day we might point you to a genuinely useful tool and earn a small commission if you use it. If we ever do, three things will always be true:

• It will never cost you a penny more — the price is the same with or without our link.
• We'll only ever recommend something we'd genuinely use ourselves.
• We'll tell you plainly when a link earns us anything. No sneaking, ever.

"Claim the money you're owed" is also the exact line every scammer uses. We know that. The only way to be the real thing in a sea of fakes is to be more transparent than anyone has any reason to be — so you never have to wonder what our angle is. This page is that, in writing.
