Springboard+ pays for higher education courses from Certificate to Master’s degree. If you are unemployed or looking to return to work, the course is free. If you are working, you pay a 10% contribution — except at Level 6, which is free to everyone.

When it is free and when it is not
You can attend a free higher education course through Springboard+ if you are unemployed or looking to return to work.
You can also apply if you are working, but you must pay a 10% contribution towards the course fee. Level 6 courses are free either way.
What you can study
Courses run from Certificate (Level 6) to Master’s degree (Level 9) on the National Framework of Qualifications. Most are part-time and last a year or less, and most are delivered online or as blended learning. Subjects include ICT, medical technologies, cybersecurity, sustainable energy, creative industries and artificial intelligence.
